Empowering women is a big responsibility but it is also vital for gender equality. Furthermore, society benefits when women are treated with respect and are not treated as second class citizens. Keeping this in view for the higher education of girls and empowering the girls, the contemporary administrator Advocate Late Shri Suraj Narayan Pareek, put a foundation of this institution on 6 July in 1996. The College is the first and the oldest in the region of Chomu. Since 25 Years, the college is  aimfully illuminating  its glorious knowledge and fulfilling its responsibilities by educating the girls of rural areas in higher education. The college with its hard work is inculcating the intellectual, diligent, adventurous, discipline and conscientiousness qualities among the students. This is the reason that at present many of the students of the college are at higher posts like IAS, RAS, RJS, Principal, Lecturer, School lecturer, TGT, Police, Bank, Statistical Department.

       The college aims at the internal and total formation of the girls. To accomplish this, special efforts are made to help the students to become mature and spiritually oriented persons of character. They are to be persons with a love for learning, developing habits of critical thought, accurate expression, strength of character and moral values needed for a like that is socially meaningful and productive. Hence, students are encouraged continually to strive for excellence in every field, to be clear and firm on principles and courageous in action, to be unselfish in the service of their fellow human beings and to become agents of social change in the country.

• The college runs UG & PG Courses - At undergraduate level the college runs Commerce and Arts streams. In Arts stream there are 12 Subjects :- Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sanskrit Literature, Geography, Political Science, Public Administration, History, Economics, Drawing & Painting, Home Science, Sociology, Computer Application. At Post Graduate level there are two subjects Political Science & Geography.

Features of College :-

• Psychological counselling cell – For the problems of the students, the college has Psychological counselling cell that tries to solve the problems of the students. The college has also an employment counselling cell that provides guidance to students for various employments. The college also provide guidance and counselling of students through psychometric testing available for vocational and career counselling.
• Competition Classes – For the bright future and success of students the college runs competitive classes. With these classes the students are prepared to fight various competitive exams. The college also runs a certificate course for CAT.
• Internal Assessment – For the intellectual developments of students the college also conduct regular class test and Pre-university Exam. The college provides the information of the students to their parents and takes their feedback for the best result in the exam. The college provides quality education with best examination result.
• On line/offline classes – During the COVID-19, the college provided the online classes to the students, so that the study of the students do not suffer. In offline mode the lectures also teach the students with the projectors for the better understanding of the topic.
• Cultural week ‘Mayuri’ - For the growth of culture and entertainment of the students, the college organises cultural week ‘Mayuri’ for the students. In this many activities like Kavita Path, Extempore, Debate, Essay Writing, Drama, One Act Play, Singing Competition, Poster Making, Mehanadi, Rangoli, Nailart, Dance competition are organised for the overall development of the students.
• Sports week – With the intellectual growth, there is need of physical health. For this the college organises sports week. In this both indoor and outdoor games like Carrom, Chess, Kabaddi, Badminton, Cricket, Race Games are conducted.
• Excursion – The college takes the students to educational tour. For this the college selects the places where the students get the information of important facts which increases their knowledge.
• National service scheme – The college has two units of NSS. The primary objective of NSS is developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. Both the units of NSS organise various activities like seminars, workshops for the NSS volunteers keeping the aim of service to society. It also organises seven days special camp to inculcate the feeling of service to society.
• Scout/Guide – The college has two units of Scout/Guide. The college has been awarded the Vice President Shield for  the session 2021-22. The ranger leader of Scout/Guide Dr. Sumitra Gupta has been awarded the International Asia Pacific award. Ranger Meenal Verma has been selected for training in NHQ, Delhi. She is representing the Rajasthan State.
• Home science department runs various skill development programme for the students. This year, Home Science department in collaboration with KVK Tankarda, Chomu and Animal and Fishing Husbandry, Govt. Of India organized three days workshop and trained the students in milk and milk products. The department also organized seven days camp for Food Preservation and taught the process of making squash, sauce, fruit cream, pizza, burger etc.
• Drawing & Painting Dept. – Drawing & Painting promote the emerging artist by organizing Exhibitions and Art Fair. The department has organized two exhibitions at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur and participated in Art Fair at Lalit Kala Academy, Jaipur.    
• Scholarships – To connect the back ward and poor students with the society and to promote and motivate the meritorious students many social workers and Ojaswi Trust provide scholarship to the students. The college also provide free Accidental Insurance Policy to all students up to one lac rupees. Principal of the college and the staff also provided scholarships to the meritorious and needy students.

The college has experienced and qualified faculty according to the norms of UGC with competence to awaken joy, confidence and positivity to develop vision in students. The faculty works hard to promote and nurture the spirit of innovation wit brainstorming technique in students. Through out the year, the college organizes webinar, seminar, exhibitions, workshops and training programmes for educational enrichment of students. The college has separate section for Hindi and English medium.

The college has well equipped Geography, Home Science, Computer and Drawing & Painting Labs. It has also a rich library with the facility of book bank and E-learning resources. The college also regularly interact with the parents for the all round development of the students and also provides Active parents award to the parents.

Due to the demand of higher education of girls in Chomu. Late Shri Suraj Narayan Pareek the contemporary administrator put a foundation of this institution on 06July in 1996. From that time this institution is aimfully illuminating its glorious knowledge and fulfilling its responsibilities by providing counselling & support to the students in the field of globalization & career. The dutiful & qualified faculty of this college has also shown their good will in the university.

The college is situated 1/2 km away from the bus stand in the bean of the city in Ojashvi Bhawan, Nohara haveliwala, in Brahmapuri. At present education is provided in the stream of B.A. B.com. (POLS.GEOG) to the students without any differences & making the students disciplined & obedient. It also prepares the students to fight for various competitive exams like RAS, RTS. IAS. NET. SET. Pre. B.Ed. PSST, CAT, CPT & Tally etc. and also provides the special classes for personality development and spoken English. The result of this is that many of the students got selection & they are giving their services to the nation & it is an honour to the college.

In college a number of students are studying & they are motivated to participate in sports & other cultural activities for their all-round personality development. The college is recognized by the university of Rajasthan & the state government provided the NOC to it. It is also the examination centre of non-collegiate & regular students. State govt. also allotted 2 Units of NSS& Scout/Guide to benefit the students.

To make the life supreme from the difficulties & cyclones, the college has the study centre & examination centre of VMOU, so that the dreams of the students of education can be fulfilled. Students are taught by the lecturers who are capable, experienced & qualified according to the norms of UGC. The student’s arc benefitted by the seminar, lectures, workshop, internal assessment, career guidance, selection of the books of various competitive exams & also for participating in various activities. This is the example of the cordial relation between the students and their teachers. In the last years the result of the college was between 97 to 100%.

Social workers of Chomu & its surrounding give their incomparable support for the development of the college. JDA provided a land with the support of the state govt. to the college near railway station in which quickly the building is planned to be constructed. The college aims at the integral and total formation of the girls. To accomplish this, special efforts arc made to help the students become mature and spiritually oriented persons of character.
